Looking Back

Looking back at a great 2025 Modeler’s Meet

The 8th Annual TCD 2025 Modeler’s Meet was held at the Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Mn.  12235 Old Rockford Rd. Plymouth MN. March 14 and 15, 2025.  Friday setup 6pm-9:30pm.  Saturday event 8am to 4pm.

Like other RPM’s, the meet offers the opportunity to attend educational and entertaining presentations, view outstanding models and talk to the modelers who built them.  All this designed to add to your enjoyment of our great hobby of model railroading.

This year’s meet will feature a lineup of presentations covering a wide topics of modeling interest from historical research to the latest techniques.  In our model display room, you will have the opportunity to see great modeling projects and talk to the modelers who built them.

Lou Vidal will be there to help with decoder programming

One of the great things about a Prototype Modelers Meet like this is that you can participate in many ways.  You may attend to enjoy the social interaction with fellow modelers, you may attend to research new ideas and techniques, you might bring your “in process” modeling projects to show and inspire others while gathering ideas on how to finish your model project.  Bring your finished models to share your efforts which provides more inspiration for fellow modelers.

The Church provides plenty of free parking and there are a number of food options nearby.  Friday evening is set up and features railfan photo presentation.  Arrive early on Saturday, the coffee is on by 8am and there will be donuts (no powdered sugar ones).
